Had a wonderful week at The Beach House. Sorry it’s ending. Weather has been fantastic, view is breathtaking and house is beautiful! Loved every minute.

Just a note Liz, to say our stay at the Beach House was great. The kids loved it and the house was ideal for us. The kids are already planning the next trip when they will be able to do all kinds of extra things in the summer. The weather was good for us too. Only really had rain on the Friday and we had the fun of the waves making the house shake and knocking over the chairs on the terrace!

As soon as we saw The Beach House we knew we were going to have a lovely relaxing week.
Liz and Sjef made us feel at home straight away and as this is also their home it is comfortable, easy to manage with the best location.
We were fortunate enough to stay when the harvest moon was full so the sea came right up to us, atmospheric and wonderful to watch the tidal changes.
Concarneau market had everything we could ever want to eat, fresh food every day, what a treat.
We drove to La Torche to body surf, everything that is said about this area is true, water sports of every type, a wonderful beach café to eat crepes.
Hope to stay again soon.
Thank-you Liz & Sjef

Firstly to say your house is a gem and we loved it!! Very homely, comfortable, very well equipped, and the views are spectacular. We would definitely love to return next year for a fortnight.
The beach is unspoilt, not busy and the water was lovely.. our 4 year old loved it and didn’t want to go home.

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful home! We will miss the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep each night.
For the next lucky visitors of the Beach House we recommend:
- shopping at Les Halles – in the very centre of Concarneau and perfect for buying fresh vegetables and seafood.
- a fancy dinner at Moulin de Rosmadec in Pont Aven.
- a relaxing massage at Naturalys
- a casual dinner at L’Arlequin in the Ville Close
- concerts in the open amphitheatre, at Foret Fousnesnant.

Thank you so much for such a memorable stay in your wonderful beach house!! The ocean showed us its many ‘faces’ from crystal clear, mirrored glass, to wild-crashing power! We loved each and every varied moment. Our boys caught crabs, shrimp, snails and fish, and started their own aquarium!
The markets are wonderful, the food fantastic, the wine, the bread, the people….. this is truly a special place. Most importantly we had some amazing family time, away from the hustle and bustle of our ‘regular’ lives. Magic!!
We are very sad to go and will definitely look forward to returning to this little piece of heaven. ♥ Thanks again!!

the beach, sea, sun, rain, swimming, sailing, bottles of rose, kayaking, crepes, cycling, picnicing, cider, sardines, comte cheese and baguettes…..we loved it all! Thanks for an amazing week!

what a relief to enter this cosy, nicely decorated, hidden treasure island! And what a view! The boys couldn’t wait to put on their rubber boots and explore the beach and even more, the rocks. Jules immediately decided to become a pirate for the next few days, so every morning after brushing his teeth, the moustache and scar appeared and then he discovered Inigo’s noisy sword!
We discovered under extremely warm weather for this time of the season, the old city, the caramel au beurre sale, les biscuit de bretagne, les plateau fruits de mer, in various nice restaurants…
so thank you Liz and Sjef for this wonderful opportunity in your lovely beachhouse, and to all our successors we wish you a holiday as unforgettable and relaxing as ours!
