An absolute must when you’re in Concarneau on a Friday, this market is held in the car park near the Ville Close. It’s full of food, fabric, and clothes, and is huge fun and full of fabulous local treats – here’s some from today…….
wonderfully multicoloured radishes – they tasted as good as they look!
this mountain of garlic was hugely impressive!
our favourite always – delicious local strawberries!
and always in our basket – noisette, nature and poivre saucisson!
olives – Thila’s favourite!
and mine is the fishmonger in the covered market next door!
take a coke break at L’Amiral on the corner and enjoy the view!
a favourite when the kids were younger – a stall selling wooden toys
a view through one row of the market
looking back towards the covered market, with another great lunch spot – Le bistrot de sables on the left
hmmmm – new knickers anyone?
and our preferred mode of transport to get there and back!
